Best Low Carb Carrot Cake
Nush Low Carb, Keto, Carrot Spice Snack Cake 3 Net Carbs
Whether you're at the airport, in a PTA meeting or in an overly, I mean overly long meeting at work (a c'mon Susan get to the point already kind of meeting) you're going to want a snack at some point. And while usually snacks are available in all of these scenarios, they tend to be the type of snacks that are chock full of carbs. But thankfully for all of us carrot cake lovers our there, this low carb carrot spice cake was created to provide tastiness while on the go.
Even though it's premade it's super moist, which is a nice surprise for prepackaged backed goods. The flavor of it is amazing too! While you can obviously add low carb frosting or butter to it if you want, because it's so moist it's seriously so good even on it's own. And best of all, it's a mere 3 net carbs!
Cooggies Gluten Free, Carrot Cake Baking Mix 12 Net Carbs
If you love both baking and carrot cake but don't want the 50+ carbs that come along with a traditional carrot cake, you should probably keep this low carb carrot cake mix on hand at all times. Not only will this mix create a delectable, moist treat that will be much friendlier to your waistline than regular carrot cake, but it's also made with quality ingredients. It's non gmo, gluten free, vegan and kosher. Not in the mood for cake? Bake it in a bread loaf pan for tasty carrot cake bread that can be enjoyed anytime of day (or night).
Simply Scrumptous Fat Free Carrot Cakes 19 Net Carbs
Okay, so if you're thinking "uuuummmmm...this low carb carrot cake has 19 net carbs, that seems kinda high. What's it doing on this list?" I get it...it's true it ranks a bit high on the low carb scale. But because it's made with wholesome ingredients, is so tasty and compared to the 53 grams of net carbs that come along with Stonewall Kitchen's carrot cake (or most traditional carrot cakes for that matter) I decided to go ahead and include it on this list. And another added bonus; preparing it couldn't be any easier. Simply take it out of the freezer or quickly warm it up in the microwave and enjoy. It's as easy as pie...low carb pie of course!
Carrot cake is something I steered clear from as a child. I used to think because it had "carrot" in the name, it couldn't actually be a dessert. It seamed like some shady ploy where my Mom was trying to pass off a carrot as a dessert...and I wasn't falling for it. As I got older, I learned I was wrong and it turns out that carrot cake is actually pretty amazing. And amazingly high in carbs. Just like the 53 carbs that are packed into this carrot cake mix. Don't get me wrong, it's super delicious but I'd take any of the other three low carb carrot cakes over this one. Not only are they're all tasty, but I can literally eat one serving of Nush, Cooggies and Simply Scrumptious' low carb carrot cakes and it would still be 19 net carbs less than one serving of this brand.
