Best Low Carb Spaghetti Noodles
Zeroodle Organic Soybean Spaghetti Noodles 5 Net Carbs
When it comes to ingredients it doesn't get any simpler than this low carb spaghetti. It literally is made from two ingredients; organic soybeans and water. Because it's made out of beans it's high in fiber and protein and very low in net carbs.
It ranks well in the flavor department and tastes like actual pasta. The texture isn't quite the same as spaghetti though. Its texture is a bit on the egg noodley side...which I personally don't mind. I think it still works great for traditional pasta dishes like a classic spaghetti and meatballs. And because it has a slight egg noodle consistency it also easily works in Asian style dishes such as low mein and ramen.
Explore Cuisine Organic Black Bean Spaghetti Pasta 8 Net Carbs
My Mom (who follows a pretty strict diet due to food allergies) introduced me to this pasta. Because it's black bean based, the pasta is black and when cooked turns slightly gray. I'll admit at first I thought the color of it was going to be too weird for me. But I pushed past that and gave it a try. And it has become hands down my favorite low carb spaghetti!
It's very versatile and you can use it in any spaghetti dish in place of traditional high carb pasta. However, because the pasta itself has such a nice flavor, my favorite way to eat it is simply with butter. It's also packed with fiber and protein making it a very satisfying meal and the best part is it won't send you into a carb crashing spiral after you eat it.
King Soba Gluten Free Spaghetti Noodles 13 Net Carbs
If you are looking for a speghetti-style rice noodle but don't want the carb overload that rice noodles have, this is a great option. They are organic, gluten free and non-GMO.
At 13 net carbs per serving they have a little bit more carbs than some other low carb spaghetti options available but a lot of lower carb options are more traditional Italian style spaghetti. Whereas, these low carb spaghetti rice noodles have the perfect taste and texture for a stir fry, sesame noodles, low mein and many other Asian noodle dishes. All while having significantly less carbs than traditional rice noodles.
Pasta is delicious, plain and simple. My personal favorite is any type of fettuccine, ravioli or spaghetti noodles with butter. But traditional pasta is loaded with gluten and has way, way too many carbs. Take this classic Barilla pasta for example. It has 39 grams of gluten filled carbs (and that number is assuming you limit yourself to a single two ounce serving size of pasta). And let's be real...who only eats two ounces of pasta?
That atrocious amount of carbs is just waiting to set up shop on your waistline. Plus if you're gluten intolerant it will send you into a world of bloated agony. Which does not sound like a fun time to me. So if you're a carb conscious, pasta lover or someone who feels like they are going to die after ingesting gluten filled pasta, do yourself a favor and try out some gluten free, low carb spaghetti options. Your body will thank you.
