Best Low Carb Lemon Squares
Keto Lemon Bar Mix 2 Net Carbs
First things first, this is not a premade bar. It is a low carb lemon square mix so you'll need to add a few additional ingredients and do some light baking to bring these bars to life. Click here to see the full list of ingredients needed.
The mix will create 8 lemon bars that have a good amount of fiber and are low carb. The end result is a delicious treat that is moist, full of flavor and looks good too. Unlike the Great Low Carb Bread Co's squares these are fancy enough to serve to guests.
Low Carb Lemon Squares 3 Net Carbs
These low carb lemon squares are made by the Low Carb Bread Company. In case you're not familiar with this company, they specialize in low carb breads, baked goods and even low carb pasta. Most of their products are really good. I especially love their low carb bagels! With that being said, in my opinion these lemon squares fall a bit flat.
Don't get me wrong it's good, but it's nowhere near as decadent as the low carb lemon squares made by ZeroGuiltSweets (see those below). They also come individually wrapped (like Little Debbie snacks) so they aren't the type of dessert you'd serve or bring to a dinner gathering either.
If you're looking for a rich and creamy lemon bar that is dinner party worthy, these aren't your best bet. However, they are great if you're looking for a low carb snack that you can take with you on the go. They're perfect to throw in your bag and take to work or run errands, or even to keep one or two on hand in the freezer to combat those late night sweet tooth cravings.
ZeroGuiltSweets Low Carb Lemon Bars 3.5 Net Carbs
With a delightfully lemon filling topped with a buttery crust, lemon bars are a heavenly treat. And these low carb lemon squares won't disappoint! The lemon flavor in them is on point. It also has a perfect, creamy consistency. Love coconut? You can order the bars with coconut too.
They are the perfect anytime snack but are elegant enough to serve at a weekend brunch. And with only 3.5 net carbs per square...what's not to love?
Not only are they low carb and delicious but they are low in calories and diabetic friendly too. If you love lemon treats and are following a keto diet these are your best friend because you can eat them and stay in ketosis.
Loaded with sugar and all sorts of ingredients that are difficult to pronounce, these are the antithesis of a low carb snack. Don't get me wrong it tastes amazing and has everything you could ask for texture wise, but it's loaded with carbs. Like 24 carbs per square to be exact.
If that doesn't sound too bad to you...allow me to give you a carb comparison. You would have to eat almost 7 of the low carb lemon squares from ZeroGuiltSweets for it to be the same amount of carbs that's in one (that's right, just one) of these Betty Crocker Bars.
Let's face it, when you're looking for a satisfying treat (especially after a long day) you're likely to indulge on more than just one bar. Two low carb squares will only cost you 7 carbs but two of these bad boys is a whopping 48 carbs...yikes! So if you're trying to stick to a low carb diet, these Betty Crocker lemon bars are not your friend.
