Low Carb Peanut Butter Cups
This is the introduction, it’s awesome!
Russell Stover Sugar Free Peanut Butter Cups 2 Net Carbs
My grandfather was a pretty big guy and a diabetic. I remember going over his house as a kid and him having a bunch of Russell Stover sugar-free candy at his house, including these peanut butter cups. At the time, I thought it was weird not having the standard orange package with yellow lettering filled with Reese's Peanut Butter cups but now I get it. Reeses peanut butter cups have 25 Net Carbs and 23 grams of protein... and while I am not diabetic I'd much rather have 2 Net Carbs and 0 Sugar. That equals a lot more peanut butter cups in my mouth. #lifegoals
Atkins Endulge Treat Peanut Butter Cups 2 Net Carbs
Atkins knows a thing or two about low carb food! While I'm no expert, they (he?) definitely brought the low carb diet into the mainstream in a BIG way. It's no surprise that these low carb peanut butter cups only have 2 little net carbs! What's not to love about these? Creamy peanut butter wrapped in a chocolate covering and easily eaten with one hand. It's like a sweet mini sandwich. I like sandwiches.
UNREAL Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups 6 Net Carbs
Ever hear of the UNREAL company? They make various chocolate candies (like Peanut Butter cups and MMs) but they try to use sustainable ingredients and exclude all the scary sounding chemicals most candy manufacturers put into their food. While these are not the lowest carb peanut butter cups out there, they are (probably) the ones with the least of chemicals in them.
FUN FACT: Because they don't use crazy chemicals, their products don't always look the same as 'traditional' candies. For example, the MMs aren't as brightly colored as regular MMs but less chemicals is always a good thing.
I like Trader Joe's, I really do. They are always introducing new and unique foods that you can't get anywhere else. There are even websites that focus on reviewing Trader Joe's unique items, but these high carb peanut butter cups make me sad. Instead of having just one serving of these pb cups (with 19 net carbs) you could have 9 servings of these low carb peanut butter cups and that would make me a lot happier.
This is the summary, it’s all the way down here!Discover more low carb product comparisons: Candy, Dessert, Snacks
