Pasta is delicious, plain and simple. My personal favorite is any type of fettuccine, ravioli or spaghetti noodles with butter. But traditional pasta is loaded with gluten and has way, way too many carbs. Take this classic Barilla pasta for example. It has 39 grams of gluten filled carbs (and that number is assuming you limit yourself to a single two ounce serving size of pasta). And let's be real...who only eats two ounces of pasta?
That atrocious amount of carbs is just waiting to set up shop on your waistline. Plus if you're gluten intolerant it will send you into a world of bloated agony. Which does not sound like a fun time to me. So if you're a carb conscious, pasta lover or someone who feels like they are going to die after ingesting gluten filled pasta, do yourself a favor and try out some gluten free, low carb spaghetti options. Your body will thank you.
