I'll be nice and start out with pros of Jelly Belly Sugar-Free Gummi Bears. They are very low carb and include seven tasty, fruity flavors. They really do taste good, I'll give them that. Now that I've gotten that out of the way...in my opinion, even though these are a very low carb option, they are not the best low carb gummy bears.

These gummy bears are loaded with sugar alcohol. If you have a sensitive stomach, consuming lots of sugar alcohol in one sitting can cause an upset stomach and in some cases make you have to go to the bathroom. However, these Jelly Belly's are extra intense. So much so that the company recommends to start by eating 8 gummy bears or less...otherwise you may end up with a case of the trots. Seriously...they even have a warning posted on the package that consuming them may cause a laxative effect.

Can you imagine sitting on a plane 35,000 feet in the air, when you get hit with a sweet tooth? So you dig into a handful of these bad boys and the next thing you know an emergency exit is required (as in the bathroom kind). I don't know about you but I'm all set with that.
